You can select the patient you need to work on from the Active Patients List or you can look them up in Patient Profile first. You can also select any patient who is in for an appointment from the combo box. This is the best method since the system can then manage the appointment’s status for you.

Both patient level and account level balances are available. Adjustments can be entered to either increase or decrease what the patient owes you. Write Offs can be entered to either increase (this situation is very unlikely) or decrease what the patient owes you. Payments from patients are entered and applied to procedures on the same screen that procedures are entered on. Procedures are entered easily both for new work and for work in the patient’s treatment plan(s). Basically, DDS Works offers you ONE SCREEN to do everything. It is neat, organized, and user friendly!
