DDS Works will run on either PC or Mac computer with minimum of 1 GB RAM. Minimum Flash player version 9 is required.
2. What browser may I use to run DDS Works application?
DDS Works application was tested to run successfully with the following browsers: Internet Explorer 6+, Safari 4.0, Firefox 3.0
3. Is my data safe? What are the security measures taken to protect my data? Social Security Numbers are stored encrypted in the database and are not readable in their raw format. They are only decrypted when you access your patient data.
All communications and data exchanges between your office computers, our servers, and E-claim Clearing Houses are done using 128 bit SSL encryption, the same standards used by all the major banks for online banking.

4. What edition of DDS Works is right for my office?
General Recommendations to select edition for the dental office:
a. If you need to use Charting and/or Imaging Intensively, unlimited E-claims and Credit Card Processing and desire to have the best support option available Platinum Edition is your best choice.
b. If you do not need to use features such as E-Claim, Credit Card Processing and standard support option fits your office, most likely Gold Edition will suit you office well.
c. If your office do not have many users (1-2) in your office, Email Support option is sufficient enough for you and Billing with send paper claim suits you then we recommend Silver Edition.

5. What is the response time for different support options?
a. Email Support Option - issues responded and resolved within 24 hours.
b. Phone and Email Support Option - issues responded and resolved within 1-4 hours.
c. Priority Support Option - issues responded and resolved while you wait on the phone.
6. What will happen to my data if I decide to cancel my subscription?
DDS Works will create extract files with your patient information. Information from the files may be used to import your data to another system.
7. How do we convert data from our current system?
DDS Works converts data from most of the dental systems. Our conversion specialists will evaluate the effort and we inform you of the cost.
Cost usually varies between $500-$1000, depending on the complexity of the data extracted. Our conversion specialist will work with you to determine
the accuracy of the data conversion, once it is completed and before go live date.
8. What will happen if office internet connection goes down?
DDS Works does offer dual internet connection to the offices. The way it works, your office is using internet router that supports dual internet connection.
You order internet connection from 2 independent providers.
DDS Works can be run on the laptop with the air card.
